I think the Vikes may have out performed the first few games of the season. The Vikes are not hittingg the same shots. Also their intesity on the D has fallen. After the Canisuis contest, the Vikes have regressed.
As for last night, the change in time zones is always ugly. But what I could not get over was the repeated smack down inside and the refusal to change. Is this a 1 Dimensional team? Other than Lowder, is there anyone who can make a jump shot?
The Gaels setup the same way, they smothered TE (who mostly played near the basket) and they waited for a Vike to drive to the basket and repeatly swatted the ball way. Often the swat was with such gusto, a Vike would end up on the court.

The Gaels setup the same way, they smothered TE (who mostly played near the basket) and they waited for a Vike to drive to the basket and repeatly swatted the ball way. Often the swat was with such gusto, a Vike would end up on the court. but they improved the second half, they had and 19 to 3 run at one point and shutdown SM defensively. They were almost within ten points, unfortunately they dug too big of a hole. We have no consistency in our guards, Lowder is the most consistent, one game Chase has 10 to 12 points, the next ,he's a no show, same with Goodrich on his shooting. Tae needs to start hitting his shoot from outside. Tevin as well one game he's scoring 10 or so points, the next he's a non factor. All opposing teams have to do is zero in on Tristan defensively and dare the guards to beat them. And most times they won't. We shoot better than last year, but it's not good enough with team that have legit shooters. YSU for example. Look at next year's recruiting class, there's a reason Robinson signed mostly guards who can shoot.
