From what I have been told there is now a 3rd player considering transferring on top of the first 2. From what I understand this players mother is pretty unhappy about how everything has been handled so far and I do not blame her.
To clarify these are 3 more players that are considering that have not announced anything yet. A lot of this I believe has to do with making sure you have some options on the back end before entering the transfer portal. Basically I think if they can find a landing spot they will enter the transfer portal.

But this incident could plague CSU basketball recruiting for years to come.

But this incident could plague CSU basketball recruiting for years to come. What I have been told is that with all these transfers taking place, the coaching staff being fired and the allegations that were hanging out there and not a single person from the athletic department bothered to reach out to the parents of players on the team. The parents were basically left in the dark for what looks like a program on the brink of collapse. The least the department could do is call up the parents and say we can’t comment yet but as soon as we can we will inform you of everything. Some sort of reassurance.

I feel for Garrett i really do because he's a rookie soldier that just been dropped in the middle for a full scale battle. He's inherited a total shit storm courtesy of the previous athletic director who bolted when he saw how shitty the athletic dept was. Garrett is going to have clean house. This is a mess. No ones gonna touch this job. And it's making national news too. This school will not be able to out recruit a junior college when it's all said done.

As of now, though, Walker is still a Viking, which she confirmed after the Ousmane decommital. But, man, Scott Garrett of Pat Vuyancih might want to give her a call.

For the record I didn’t get this from Twitter I got this from someone who had more direct knowledge. Phil did inform me an hour ago it was on twitter.

I hope I'm wrong, but; this is showing signs of a decision not planned out and worse execution. No communication plan with a message to all of the stakeholders is not very professional. A lot of people were impacted by this event. If handled wrong, well this story could play out for a while.

To early to make that call. If they are firing him for cause then they might not legally be in position to comment right now. They might be negotiating a settlement and have an NDA at this point. They also are running extremely short staffed in that office currently.

Granted people ask for more than you can share; however you can inform them of the limits in a gracious fashion.

They might have gotten proof of an an abuse incident that they needed to act on immediately. It is telling that they went to a color analyst guy to be the interim and not one of the assistant coaches.

Yes this is true about. Maybe it took time to find out what really happened. Guess the assistants were guilty too

This entire thing has to run it's course. However, the optics are very bad.

I just think there is a ton of blame to go around especially with the President and how hollowed out the athletic department was. This goes all the way back to Felton trying to backdoor a recruit into the school and vastly underplaying the charges he was facing at his previous school. It’s when I knew things had gotten desperate and that’s when I said if anyone was running the ship it would have never been allowed. People are basketball were bewildered that CSU and Felton were attempting to bring him in knowing the charges he was facing.

I checked back in with the person that informed me of this after Bobs post about her stating he is staying and that person doubled down that he was still considering a possible transfer. Again nothing guaranteed that he is leaving. Just appears almost everyone on the roster is working through their options. Some of these guys might wait to see who the new hire is before making the call.
