My guess all along was he would take Ryan Sharbaugh with him, since he brought him to CSU from FSU, and then would hire two new assistants that fit the needs of Missouri's recruiting. Just like he hired two Ohioans in Summers and Joyce for CSU. If you look at our website right now, Summers, Joyce and the support staff are still listed. Gates (obviously) and Sharbaugh are not. www.csuvikings.com/sports/m-baskbl/coaches/indexThe Young hire is official for Mizzou as he's listed on their website. He brings a wealth of experience from FSU plus head coaching experience. Assuming Gates is bringing Sharbaugh. And then the Logan CC Head Coach Kyle Smithpeters would bring Illinois/Missour/JUCO recruiting to the staff.

Dickey Nutt was added to the Missouri staff. Wonder if Sharbaugh ends up there also. Would leave room for Robinson to retain Joyce and Summers + add his own guys.

The problem is that Robinson hasn’t done anything in his 10 days as coach for us to talk about. Zero rumors of who the assistants will be. Zero rumors of players contacted or offered

Gates seemed to have a game plan in his pocket and most likely evolved over time. It's only been a couple weeks. By late May, let's hope there is not a thundering chorus of crickets., But again, when Gates was hired, expectations were not as high. Multiple loosing seasons and a very late hire, the bar was really low. Robinson rolled in after Gates delivered 2 HL Champ runs, a NCCA and NIT trips. Robinson going to have to show that he can win in the HL. When you think about it the Gates teams were not very good in OOC games and the HL is a fairly low bar. That's why I was kind of surprised he left this year. Then again, that might be exactly why he left this year.
