It’s been an interesting journey for Price. He enrolled at Bradley in the summer of ‘19 but was granted his release to go back closer to home. He enrolled at D2 Quincy and red shirted in 19-20. Then he transferred to Juco and played 2 years. I’m unclear if he has 2 years remaining or 3 with the Covid bonus year (confusing to me because he red shirted that year plus he was at the D2 level).
Also, he played at Mineral Area, made famous by Arthur Agee in Hoop Dreams.

I really like the shooting #s. Appears to be a guy that’s I’ll get his points without forcing too much. Could be the starting 2 guard next season.

I was wondering if he might be the starting pg. I don't think hill or Parker are starting quality pg.

I thought Hill played well last year but if you can have him come off the bench that gives you some depth that we will need. Not sure we are going to have the top end players this year so having quality players off the bench is going to be key. If Prices is better then Hill that’s a good sign.

If they can get that Marquette transfer Elliott that would give them much improved 3pt shooting.

I just saw Elliott is visiting Pitt this weekend and they have no sg on roster so he's probably a long shot for us

Parker started 29/31 games last year, I know it’s a new coach, but would think he remains a starter. While not a great scorer or shooter, he’s a solid defender with good size and can handle the ball + facilitate. With how Robinson says he wants to play, would think a guy like Parker at the lead guard could be beneficial.

I think sometimes people look at scoring as the only indication of what makes someone “starting caliber”. You described all of the other things that makes Parker a useful starter. He’s also a good leader. With a new staff and a largely new roster, having a leader out there who buys in and can communicate to the rest of the team will be key. I saw some good things offensively from Parker last year too and actually wished he would shoot more often. He’s able to use his size against smaller guards and can make the open 3. Looking at his career stats, he had a miserable shooting season in his year at App St. But his sophomore year he averaged 10 a game at James Madison, and outside of the year at App St, he’s a serviceable 44%/32% career shooter. He shot 52%/35% last year. If he can be near those numbers with a couple more shots per game, he can easily average 8-10 ppg.

I don't think Parker is bad player just think he's just a guy. It's also trouble to me to have a pg that's a career 55% free throw shooter I think that's a indicator of what kind of shooter he is
