Tied at halftime. I only caught the last 6 minutes of the 1st half so far and watched the Vikes give up a 13 point lead.

The 2nd half was much better. Based on what I'm seeing in the last few games, the bench is really beginning to develop. Which is good as we the Vikes enter HL play. It is also good from an organic growth point of view in the out years (if the Vikes can retain the players each year).

Deshon Parker with 13 points 6 assists and 0 turnovers. He’s been great this year. Averaging 10 points, 6.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds, with a 4-to-1 assist to turnover ratio. That’s first team all conference play if he keeps it up. I love the athleticism of Tae Williams, but I’d consider replacing him in the starting lineup with Woodrich. The starting 5 is shooting 8-40 from 3 (20%). Parker and Williams are 0-8 combined, Johnson hasn’t attempted one, and Enaruna is 2-11. That puts it all on Hill who is 6-21.
Having Woodrich (8-21) would help spread the floor for Parker to drive and Enaruna to play the high post.
Williams would then fit well with Lowder off the bench, plus Price and Pryor have shown the ability to knock down outside shots.

First team was probably hyperbole, especially without looking at other stats. The point remains, if he put up those numbers for an entire season he’d get recognition at the end. He’s a can’t shoot, pass first PG who a lot of people didn’t want to see starting. The case for keeping him in the lineup was leadership and the ability to run the offense without turning it over. I’d say he’s supported that case convincingly so far this season.

Antoine Davis takes 19.3 shots per game to score those 24 points per game. 41% from the field. So I’m inclined to say he’s not down amazing great player, he just takes a high volume of shots. Which he has done his entire career and we have come to expect from him.
