Detroit @ Cleveland State (-2.5, 133.5): No Cleveland State coach has conference play 2-0 since 1990-1991. Detroit is CSU’s best opponent in several weeks. I like a play of Detroit +2.5 today!
Oakland @ Fort Wayne (-7.5, 153.5): Oakland is in a really bad place right now, with no end in sight. Their defense is equivalent to the sieve I use to strain the water out of spaghetti noodles. Until Oakland shows an ability to defend at any level at all, or some ability to want to win, I’m gonna ride the wave against them and take Fort Wayne -7.5.
Robert Morris @ Northern Kentucky (-6.5, 127.5); After throttling Wright State in the road, the Superfan isn’t sure what to make of RMU. Fluke win? Sign of a team that is going to be a contender this year? Hard to tell. The spread feels about right to the Superfan. The total, however, feels too low. The Superfan likes a play on the OVER 127.5 total points!
IUPUI @ Milwaukee (-16.5, 136.5): When the Superfan looks at IUPUI’s page on KenPom.com, he sees more red than a hospital hosting a blood donation drive. IUPUI has the literal worst offensive efficiency out of 363 D1 teams, and the third worst defensive efficiency!!! Milwaukee under Bart Lundy, after feasting on a crappy Green Bay team, once again have the bibs on ready to feast on one of the worst D1 teams. THE SUPERFAN’S “EASY PLAY OF THE DAY” is Mikwaukee -16.5!!
