Technically Destiny Leo is from Willowick (my wife’s hometown/alma mater and she was a big time player at North “back in her day”). Because of the connection, we saw Leo play a few times at North and I was super excited she chose CSU. She hasn’t disappointed.

15-1 never cared much about the woman's team, but this is truly impressive, and they beat a very good IUPUI program and YSU, only team standing in their is the always good UWGB program. If not for the IOWA State lost they'd be national ranked. Impressive indeed.

Women’s team faces Uncle Fester tomorrow and the winner likely wins the conference regular season outright.

Women's team played as close to a perfect game as a team can, at the best possible time. They defended at a very high level all game. Hit their three pointers.
They were NET ranking 70 entering the game. Green Bay was 65. Gotta imagine CSU will be mid-60s after winning today.
I think the highest the women's team could land is a 12 seed with the right teams losing, and as low as a 14 seed. I think safe to say they will probably be a 13 seed.

Seems like CSU women's basketball added a pretty good player today. Mickayla Perdue from Division II Glenville State University in West Virginia. She averaged 17.7 points per game last year, shot over 38% from three point range, and led her team to the D2 Final Four.

CSU picked up another commit from Grambling State transfer Colbi Maples. Was Grambling's leading scorer at 12 points per game. 5'8" guard. So the CSU women's team has added 2 pretty good guards this offseason. If my math is still good, they have 3 open scholarships still.
