It’s the Horizon League. There arent any truly good teams. We saw good teams recently playing Kent State, Loyola Marymount and St Bonaventure.
Any gane this year it wouldn’t surprise me if CSU won or lost.

Offensively you know what the Vikes are going to do. So, you pack the paint and dare the Vikes to beat you off the 3-point line. The Vikes were able to hit those 3s against Detroit and they won. When the Vikes cannot hit 3s, they lose. I think not hitting the 3s is the mean and the Detroit game is an outlier.
This is going to be one of those transition seasons. I'm migrating to the position where I rather see the under classmen get more minutes to hopefully develop (and don't transfer out). Probably unrealistic.

Offensively we fell back into some bad habits with costly turnovers. Defensively we couldn’t string together enough stops to get over the hump. YSU has their best team in quite some time IMO. They’ll be right in the thick if things this year.
I’d like to see Robinson use more of the bench. I’m not sure what’s going on with Woodrich but he barely played. They essentially played 6 guys yesterday. That can’t last. Woodrich needs more minutes and at least one other person needs to be counted on for 10+ consistent minutes so there is an 8 man rotation.

YSU has stayed the same and the rest of the HL fell to their level. IMO, there are 2 senerios in this order: - Schedule good OOC teams and win, win the HLT consistantely, get out of the 1st round of the NCAAs and climb out of the conference.
- Consider the OOC pre-season. Use the HL regular season to position for early round home team games in the HLT and win the HLT. At least trips to the NCAAs will help with recruiting.
