I believe CSU is mathematically eliminated from sharing the conference title now. Just focus on staying in the top 4 to get a bye to the Quarterfinals and a home Quarterfinal game. Would be extra nice if we could get second or third and avoid YSU in the Semifinal.

It’s unlikely YSU loses to GB, RMU, or IUPUI, but it’s possible.

Couple of random thoughts headed into tonights game: -CSU is 748-748 all-time as a program, per sports reference: www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/cleveland-state/men/-CSU is trying to have their third winning season in a row, something the program hasn't accomplished since the final 3 years of Kevin Mackey's coaching tenure: 1987-88, 1988-89, 1989-90.

It’s unlikely YSU loses to GB, RMU, or IUPUI, but it’s possible. Chances YSU loses to Green Bay or IUPUI is absolute 0. 0%. So you would need YSU to lose to RMU (KenPom says 32% of that alone happening), and then you would need CSU to win out all 4 games(15.111552% chance per KenPom odds). So the probability of YSU losing to Robert Morris and CSU winning out alone is 4.83569664% using KenPom odds. And then if that ~4.84% chance actually happened, you would have tiebreakers between CSU and YSU. The season series tied 1-1. So I believe next tiebreaker would be records versus the highest other teams in the final standings, and going down until one team gets an edge. Say in our scenario Milwaukee finishes third. CSU and YSU would be 1-1 versus them. Say NKU finishes 4th (next tiebreaker). YSU 1-1 versus them, in our scenario CSU would be 1-1. Say Wright State finishes 5th. CSU and YSU both 2-0 versus them. Say Oakland finishes 6th. YSU is 2-0 vs them, CSU is 1-1. So right there YSU would win the regular season by that tiebreaker. The team CSU would hold an edge on YSU in our scenario is RMU. CSU is 2-0, YSU would be 1-1 in this scenario. So CSU's chance of winning the conference regular season is that 4.84% of CSU winning all 4 remaining AND YSU losing to RMU, COMBINED with RMU beating BOTH Milwaukee and IUPUI (43.89% chance). Combine those percentages, and I stand corrected, CSU has a 2.122387255296% chance of winning the conference. LOL LMFAO

And you said for tying for the conference championship, not the number 1 seed. If CSU wins out and YSU loses to RMU it’s a tie. CSU likely loses the tie breaker for the number 1 seed. But it’s still a tie.

Can't ask for much of a better start up 13-3 and that last possession almost got tipped in from no where but still CSU ball.

JFC of course we brick 3 shots at the end of the half and give up a running 3 pointer so instead of being up 10 we are up just 5.
How many times are we going to give up a 3 pointer to end of the half.
I was fine with being up 8 but to not grab the ball and tip it back to them with 3 seconds left and allow that to happen was a huge mistake and now we will see if those 3 points cost us the game in the game.
Should be up 10+ totally out played them but let Calvin shoot 4/4 from 3 and them to shoot 7/12 from 3.

Limit their 3 point shooting and this game is ours.
They are +18 from the 3 point line they are 7/12 and we are 1/8 yet somehow we lead by 5.
Still GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Should be up at least by 8 that 3 at the half was brutal we had the rebound with 5 seconds left and instead of gathering then going up for last shot we let them get it with enough time for a miracle and that is exactly what they got.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Apparently everyone but me is at the game.
I am not 1 to complain but come on with the turnovers and missed FT's.
9/16 from the line
13 turnovers
Game be over if we made most of our FT's and limited the turnovers.

Nice little burst there to go up 15 but once again Calvin hits another mid jumper this guy is unstoppable. Good thing he is the only one doing any good for Wright State tonight.
Ok guys let me have 1 easy coast to a victory just 1 time ?
Up 13 with 6 mins left.
I would just like 1 game where we don't have to sweat it out till the final second when we have a nice lead.

Ok I guess that 3 at the end of the half didn't matter.
Now this is how you finish at game up 19 with 2 mins left. I think I can rest easy for once.
This was them on the message board at the half.............WRONG

Really good performance start to finish.
Both games against Wright State our athleticism really stood out.
Great to see a Hill get his shot going. If he’s closer to the player we saw last year down the stretch, he’s a difference maker off the bench.
Same for Woodrich. He showed signs of life tonight.
I’ve been saying this all year, not a single big in the league can keep Enaruna in front of him. The sooner he and the coaches realize that, the better.
Norris Cole put on an amazing recruiting commercial for CSU during his interview. He’s such a great ambassador for the program and the university as a whole. Love that guy.

This game coupled with Oakland losing tonight should all but clinch a top 4 seed and a home game in the quarters.
Oakland was swept by YSU so the only possible way I think CSU could not get a top 4 seed is if CSU lost out, Oakland won out and YSU does not finish in 1st place.
If YSU finishes in 1st CSU wins tie breaker over Oakland. If CSU wins 1 game it also clinches it. Let us just do that.

Truly impressive, hope we get Tristan and Drew back next year. Pryor shows a lot of potential as well.

Big win...great crowd too....2,902. Can we actually build something here?...Eneruna is an absolute stud, as is Lowder. This team, win or lose, is fun to watch!

20 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks from Enaruna. One of the better performances we’ve seen in a while.

Also that was the first game I was able to watch all year and I watched it all from start to finish.
I refuse to pay for ESPN+ I pay way too much already for cable and 100's of channels I should be getting that for free so I never see games I always pay attention to them and if they are close in the final couple minutes (and they always seem to be close) I turn on the radio station to listen to the end.

Another entertaining game in front of a nice crowd. Good to see the Vikes win a couple nice games in a row (in front of a larger than usual crowd).
Lets hope the Vikes can keep it rolling into the HLT.

Great win from start to finish last night! Good energy in the arena it seemed, the Vikes showed up on National TV and in front of a big home crowd (that typically hasn’t happened in the past).
Hope we can close the year out 3-0 to have a 20 win season and stay hit going into HL Tournament. A bid to the dance is wide open. And I love the Mizzou guys, but man part of me would love to see guys like Parker, Johnson, and Hill make the dance due to staying and the guys who left miss the dance.

Convincing win in front of a nice crowd. With three regular season games left, the HLT, and then some tournament (hopefully, NCAA, but they'll be playing somewhere in March), this team should at least win 20 games. That's after losing Gates and their best players. They bring in a new coach and haven't missed a beat. If they find a way to win the HLT and get the NCAA bid, CSU has turned the corner on building a program. Even if they lose out, this was still a successful first year for Coach Robinson. No one saw 17 wins, let alone 20.
Is that the A-10 I hear knocking on the door?

CSU would need to do what Florida Atlantic and Charleston are doing this year on a consistent basis, more butts in the seats. And upset the P5 schools like the Zags and Butler have done in the past. About 3 years of that and I can see the A-10 calling.

This game made CSU look real good in front of a national audience,That and Coles sales pitch along with Tae Williams, Tristan,Lowder and Hills play sent a strong message to local recruits. Hopefully we can cash in locally on recruits in the Cleveland/Akron and Dayton area. The future is look good for this program. Robinson has a contract extension coming for sure.
