I have a feeling this will be another game where CSU gets out to a double digit lead and gives it all back and has to hang on to save their season.
The CSU Superfans WILL BE AT THE GAME!!!!

We needed to play Wright State that sure didn't work out for us playing Robert Morris.

What a phenomenal comeback. To win a conference tournament you usually have to win a game you didn’t play well in. Go beat Milwaukee.

Since I don't get EPSN+ I was watching the scoreboard play by play all night assumed we would lose this. I decided to turn on the radio and listen to final 4 minutes when we were down 6 or 8 pts.
What a comeback win. Something about quarterfinal games in the Horizon tournament at home going to OT.
I hate that our game will be at 9:30 PM ET or so that makes for a long night and next work day but at least we get to play and I will get to watch on TV now.
I remember the long time ago when the 2nd game was on delay.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how the W is obtained. They get a chance to play again.

What a phenomenal comeback. To win a conference tournament you usually have to win a game you didn’t play well in. Go beat Milwaukee. I’ve said it here before, we probably lost 3 games that we deserved to win and didn’t win a single game all year where we deserved to lose. Usually those even out over the course of a season. Tonight we pulled one out that we absolutely should have lost. Hopefully we have another one in our pocket if needed.

What a fun crowd tonight. That was probably the best environment I’ve seen in the Wolstein since the early Waters years. It’s so much more fun when the crowd is energetic and engaged. I won’t have a voice at work tomorrow.

Parker ,Lowder & Hill need to play better between them 6-21 from field 2-8 from 3pt Lowder was nails from the free throw line and hit the biggest shot of the game with his late 3 that cut it to 4 with a minute and a half left. Without that shot we lose.

I woke up in a great mood lol. I’m super proud of this team. They fought through one of their worst performances of the season to find a way to win. There were multiple clutch performances. Tae Williams, for example, played fewer minutes than normal but came off the bench late in an offense-defense swap with Lowder and drew a critical charge. The staff also made great adjustments on both ends to turn the tide, including getting more minutes for Lowder, Hill and Woodrich in place of Williams. Although the shots weren’t falling, they needed to stretch the floor to get RMU out of the defense they were having success with. The adjusted lineup allowed them to isolate Enaruna and get him the touches in the paint we’ve been asking for all season. They also went to a zone for a stretch to slow down RMU’s back cuts and then eventually went back to a man-to-man with some pressure which was more successful than at the start.
I’m happy for the seniors, especially Spider Johnson, who got a win in their last home game in front of what was probably the best crowd of their careers. Watching those guys walk off the home court for the last time with huge smiles is something I’ll remember for a long time.
Now let’s keep it going!

And the seniors delivered in different ways. Johnson had a phenomenal game, Parker with a huge steal to seal OT, and Hill played big minutes delivering 9/3/2 all above his season averages.

This team looked out of it most of the night, yet pulled together in the closing minutes, hit some big shots, made some defensive stops and wound up winning going away in OT. If they can win a game like that, where they didn't play well and their opponent (for the most part) did, there is no reason for them not to believe they can't win two games in Indy.

I won’t have a voice at work tomorrow. I have to agree with Ryan A - I only go back to the start of Gary Waters in my time as a CSU fan, but that was one of the better game atmospheres. Last year in the Quarterfinal, CSU kinda had the game "in the bag" versus RMU the entire game and it wasn't as energetic or emotional. Great defense chants and just noise in general last night. It made it a better atmosphere that RMU brought all of their fans who were loud and chanting all game as well. Not used to that but it was fun

sounds like a big crowd...what was the attendance? Over 2,500. Not nearly as big as some of the crowds in the Waters era against Butler and Valpo, but it looked crowded along both sidelines (just the upper deck and baseline were open). It was definitely cramped in my section.

Trivia question for everyone - this year marked the third consecutive season CSU won at least 19 games in a season. When is the last time that happened?
I thought it had to be under Gary Waters. Nope. Last time it happened was under Kevin Mackey. 1985-1986 (29-4), 1986-1987 (25-8) and 1987-1988 (22-8).
Gary Waters did win more games over a 3 year stretch (65 games in 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013) than the current 3 year stretch (59 games), but that included a losing season of 14-18 in 2012-2013.
Regardless of the Horizon League being a weak conference, an impressive run that almost never happens for this program historically. To do it over a stretch with 2 coaches I think makes it more impressive.
