Lets grade the players who haven't transferred:
Here are mine:
Tristan Enaruna: A+. All-Horizon League first team says it best. We knew he had talent since he originally committed to Kansas, and then played for Iowa State, but once he figured out in mid January that no one in the Horizon League can stop him, he was a force and couldn't be stopped and was the biggest reason we won 21 games and made it to the HL title game. Only note here is hoping he doesn't transfer or go to play overseas.
Deante "Spider" Johnson: A. Invaluable experience as a "Super Senior" for the team. Excellent defense and rebounding at the rim. Wasn't really a part of the team's offense, but he never complained and took what points came to him in the game flow. Has played 5 years and out of eligibility. He will be greatly missed. All the best in whatever he takes on as his next adventure in life!
Tae Williams: B+. His athleticism is off the charts and would play in a Power 5 conference. He can get sky high for rebounds, dunks, and showed he could blow past defenders off the dribble. Did an okay to good job guarding the other team's better players, and seemed to get better on defense as the year went on. Only thing that stopped me from giving him an A was his lack of shooting ability, and the fact that he can be inconsistent, with having one game of 20 points, 10 rebounds and few steals and follow that up with a 1-8 shooting game and 4 fouls. Hopefully he doesn't transfer and puts up 10,000 shots a day and develops a jump shot. He will be impossible to guard with a consistent jump shot. There is a concern of him transferring with the ability he has shown, but I think Power 5 schools will not jump at him due to his lack of shooting ability and aforementioned inconsistency.
Drew Lowder: B+. Definitely better than I expected going into the season. I saw that he had already played for 3 schools in 3 years and figured he is a selfish player who may put up points but hurts his team like Antoine Davis and takes too many shots. Robinson took him only as a walk on and made him earn his scholarship, which he did. We saw his scoring ability and shooting ability on display. There were some games where he alone won CSU the game with his scoring ability and clutch shooting (Youngstown State and Horizon League Quarterfinal vs Robert Morris). Only reason I didn't give him an A was because he wasn't as consistent as he needed to be, and didn't seem to play good defense or really share the ball well and set up teammates. I don't see him transferring to his 5th school, and I think he will return next year and we can count on 10 points a game from him.
DeShon Parker: B. Solid play overall. About what we expected before the season. Very good at setting up teammates with good passes. Was good at hitting clutch free throws near the end of games. Good defender. What held me back from a higher grade here was he was also prone to turnovers and poor ball handling and decisions, as well as struggling with the outside shot as he made only 24% of three pointers. Overall though ran the offense well and was a valuable asset. Has played 5 years and out of eligibility. Wish him well in whatever job he takes out in the real world!
Yahel Hill: B. Another solid point guard who could be counted on to play solid defense, make his free throws, an occasional three and provide supporting scoring. KenPom says he has played 3 years and is a senior, so I believe he does have one year of eligibility left, and if he chooses to attend graduate school would be a great asset to the team if he does return next year.
Jayson Woodrich: B. Turned into a reliable shooter and scorer off the bench. Seemed to add a runner inside the 3 point line to his game this year. Hit three pointers with more consistency. Seemed to play serviceable defense later in the year. Valuable player to stretch the floor and provide us some scoring off the bench. I believe a low transfer risk as he is a local kid from Beachwood and seems to really enjoy Cleveland.
Ramar Pryor: C. Limited playing time off the bench but seemed to have a role. Hit a few three pointers and played solid defense. Hope he continues to grow. Low transfer risk I think
Dylan Arnett: C. Didn't see much at all of him. Didn't seem to have a role. He did have a few games where he showed some signs he could be a good player. hoping he returns and doesn't transfer.
