CSU alumnus and current owner of the HoriZone Roundtable website, Bob “The Emcee” McDonald, recently announced that he will be stepping down as owner of the website and looking for someone to take his place as the website administrator.
First, how many people here have heard of or read the HoriZone Roundtable?
And second, does anyone think Superfan Durda should make an offer to Bob to purchase the website?

First, how many people here have heard of or read the HoriZone Roundtable? God, I hope so. I pop in everyone once in a while to make mention of it.

Sure, I often listen to the pod casts. If not the MC, will Bobby remain a frequent guest?

I have always admired the work all of the contributors and Bob have put into the HoriZone Roundtable, and I would hate to see it just disappear. That's why I am considering making Bob an offer to take it over.
I just don't see myself as a good podcast host, at all. I certainly could manage the website with my software developing experience. Maybe that's the route, try to find someone to host the podcasts while I manage the website and try to find contributors who are 5% as dedicated and good at covering as KyleHZRT

I hate to see the HZ fade away. Unless something crazy takes place, I don't see the Vikes leaving the HL. We are too far east for the MVC and too big of leap for the A10. So we are kind of stuck here.

So we are kind of stuck here. The MVC can explain as far east as they want. And as for being "too big" for the A-10,don't understand what u mean there This is all based on the Vikes being continous 1st place finishes over the next several years. Without a great track record, there would be no consideration by any outside conference. Sure, I guess the MVC could expand their footprint east. How many of their western schools in the middle of nowhere will want to travel given no direct flights to Cleveland. I remember traveling from St Loius to Cleveland back in the late 1980s and the N. Iowa team happen to also on the flight. Their coach complained entire flight about the travel to Cleveland from Corn City. Not sure why their connecting flight was thru St Louis; but do remember the distain. The moving from the HL to the A10 is a fairly large leap. There may be some overlap between the top of the HL and the bottom of the A10; but the gap quickly widens in their top teams. Thus the level of compention would be a leap. I'm basically saying if the Vikes developed a good program with multiple NCAA visits of the next few years, I doubt we would be at the top of the list of either conference.
