Would have been a game changers if Townsend had been called for his 3rd on the blocking foul call.
38-38 at the half.

Pretty strange Oakland never puts guys on the FT line when they are shooting FT's

Not much you can do when that guy is hitting 3s like that

Well it is winning time 3 mins left down 4 but going to the line for 3 shots. Turnovers, missed FT's and giving up OFF rebounds have been a problem in this game for CSU. Will it cost them a win ?

If you are going to miss it you got to throw the ball up high only 3.4 left hard to argue with missing it on purpose

Poor Coaching... I didn't see Coach Robinson miss any 3's tonight. I didn't see him miss 3 offensive rebounds in a row.I did see him put together a masterpiece our last game. A Coaches 1st two seasons of 20+ wins, would you take that.? CSU came this far without a true PG. I think he brings a whole new mentality to CSU. Look at all the players he brought to Loyola, Iowa St. & now CSU. The future is bright folks. Give him the keys to the Ferrari. Great season CSU.

This game was pretty much a micro cosum of the season, too many missed opportunities and not playing consistently. Where was the Chase Robinson from the YSU game and why no one had their has in the face of that one guard who was lightning it up. Tae Played his ass off,but as usual he and Tristan got no help. Where was Woodrich? OK season overall. If Robinson a C+ maybe B minus. A great talent in Tristan was wasted with bunch of mediocre players, with the exception of Tae, maybe Drew as well. It'll be a long time before we see a player like him in forest green and white. Hope he does well in the NBA or Europe. (NBA hopefully)

We shot 18% from 3. You are not winning games that way. The reality is all year the guard play was inconsistent and filled with bad decision making.
We struggled to get into an offense a lot this year and the lack of perimeter shooting just clogged the lane and made it harder on our forwards with their drives.
Why we had guards trying to launch from 10 feet beyond NBA early in a shot clock on multiple important possessions was troubling.

Given how the Vikes played in the regular season, I thought the Vikes slightly exceeded expectations in the HLT. Afterall, they won on the road against YSU and lost by 1 possession against Oakland.
The Vikes are made up of athletic slashers with a couple of streaky jump shooters. This team was born to run. The best defense against the Vikes is to make them play half court and pack the paint.
The way college athletics is going these days, I'm not sure if you can build a program anymore. Each season is a new iteration and adventure. In 2 more years, it will be totally different.

I won't be rooting for Oakland since they are playing My Kentucky Wildcats in the 1st round.
