Let's keep all talk, rumors and transfer portal comings and going all in this thread.
I will start by predicting that both Dok Murodar and Ramar Pryor will transfer out of CSU. Dok did not play much at all this year, and next even with Enaruna being out of eligibility, KJ Debrick will be back in the lineup, and we are adding Coach Robinson's son, Reece. That leaves 2 starting spots for Arnett/Debrick/Woodrich, and you have Reece Robinson who will surely be higher on the depth chart than Dok.
With Ramar Pryor, he seemed to regress in his play this year compared to last year his freshman year. Part of that may be that he didn't have a defined role on the team and never knew what he was supposed to do or how he fit in to help the team win. By the end of the year it was clear he was behind Tevin Smith, Jalin Rice, and Chase Robinson on the guard depth chart (amongst players returning next year), and then next year for guards, incoming we have Tyler Spratt, JeShawn Stevenson and Chaz Watson all coming in as freshmen. So that is 6 players he has to compete with for playing time, when this past year he didn't play for all of February, and only averaged under 5 minutes per game when he did play from December on.
So I think Muordar and Pryor transfer out what does everyone else think?

I agree with the two you mention….but how do DoK gets to transfer again without coaching change or being a grad student, also don’t forget Danny Young RS so he will be in the mix, and don’t assume Reese will be in the rotation I wouldn’t be surprised if Coach not looking for A veteran 6’8/ 6’o swing guy….

There are no longer any restrictions on number of transfers. Courts have ruled that limiting transfers is an illegal restriction on players potential earnings. It’s under appeal but until that time they can transfer as many times as they want. There is a 5 star offensive tackle from Iowa that took a bag from Alabama left Alabama after a year. Transferred to Iowa in January took a bag from Iowa and it’s now March and he just transferred back to Alabama.

They seem to be reaching out to & looking at alot of players & positions. Could more guys be leaving. Woodrich is a senior and could leave Rice was good defensively but not much offensively & I stll wonder about Young they signed 3 guards early & looking at multiple positions now. Maybe he hasn't impressed in practices.

A commentator on one program I was watching indicated that the many of the player NIL agents were encouraging the kids to enter the portal to get a better deal.

Jayson Woodrich has entered the transfer portal. That one suprised me. He definitely would have been a starter here next year, and it seemed like he always loved playing here in his home town.

And now Ramar Pryor has entered the transfer portal. This one I predicted a few days ago. He was never really given consistent playing time and did not have a role on the team.

Too bad about Woodrich, but all he could really do was shoot.....and sometimes he couldn't do that... Sorry to see a local kid go, but he can certainly be replaced.

yea surprised about woody. seemed like this was the best spot for him Wonder how much of it (and Pryor) is the coach wanting them to move on to free up spots because of how they want to approach recruiting this offseason and needing spots. Guess we’ll see… That’s being said, Woody and Lowder both gone, I hope there are some floor spacers somewhere for this team lol

Tevin Smith will be taking on a MUCH larger role next season.

I feel the same way I’m a little surprised that he entered and I would not be surprised if he withdrawals probably just seeing what interest is out there for him but with that said if he does leave, I really feel he’s definitely replaceable, He won’t even see the floor at a P5 school….

I mentioned Woodrich earlier in this thread could be leaving. Someone mentioned he would be starting next year. If he's starting I think you'll in big trouble but I've never been a fan to streaky & inconsistent

Dok Muordar just entered the transfer portal. This was predicted by me a few days ago and should not come as a surprise.

I believe CSU now has 3 open scholarships. 4 players transferring, but only 3 open scholarships open as Paxton Payne entered the transfer portal today but he was not on scholarship.

3 open schollys looks right to me also. Will be interesting to see who Coach brings in. We need a guy or 2 who can create his own shot. and then shoot it well...(hopefully Spratt, Watson and Stevenson can all shoot well). Also gonna need more size/strength up front. I feel good pretty about Arnett and DeBrick, (and maybe Reece Robinson) but definitely need more...Only proven point right now is Chase Robinson. Jalin not really a point guard and Young is still unproven, so no surprise if he goes after a veteran point guard. Tevin Smith is going to be asked to carry a heavy load next season.

Are we counting Robinson’s son on scholarship? I am not sure that is the case.

Are we counting Robinson’s son on scholarship? I am not sure that is the case. Verbal Commits shows him as "signed" (for LOI)...pretty sure he's on scholarship. Maybe though, university employees (coaches) kids have "university money" and don't take up a scholarship?...can anyone else weigh in?

I am personally aware of a son of a Prof receiving free tuition; however that was a long time ago. On the CSU website there is a reference to the FEE AUTHORIZATION PROGRAM as a benefit (no details).

I would be absolutely shocked if coach’s son was taking a scholarship. And if his son is taking a scholarship and there’s a huge impact player they need it for, they just take the coach’s son’s scholarship away and the coach pays tuition in order to sign an impact player and invest in a better team to further his career.
Would make no sense for a coach to have their son take up a scholarship spot if they needed it.

Based on what I'm reading in Verbal Commits I'm recording the following:
Currently on Team (5): Rice, Smith, Debrick, Arnett, and Young Recruits (4): Scott, Watson, Stevenson, Robinson Open: 4 open

You forgot Chase Robinson currently on team so 3 open spots not 4 Since he played 5 seasons, I'm going assume Chase has a COID year remaining. Was he hurt in the previous year (2022 - 2023) while at CSU? Records shows he played 1 game (maybe a medical red shirt?).

Since the departures have settled down, the list has been modified to reflect the consensus:
Currently on Team (6): Chase Robinson, Rice, Smith, Debrick, Arnett, and Young Recruits (4): Spratt, Watson, Stevenson, Robinson Open: 3 open
will post in the Next Year's Team thread.

I'm not flipping out or going off here, just pointing out that it seems like there hasn't been much happening with CSU and the transfer portal. I haven't seen any players visiting campus at all like Tevin Smith and KJ Debrick did last year before committing. A handful of players showing interest, but that's it. Nothing concrete

So let's see, CSU has:
Leaving: Enaruna Lowder Williams Woodrich Pryor Muordar Moss
Incoming: Robinson Watson Stevenson Spratt Staveskie Abidde
7 out, 6 in, so I have 1 scholarship remaining for the CSU men's team.
