The first piece of news is that Mickayla Perdue today announced she will officially be returning to CSU next season. Awesome news obviously as she was the conference newcomer of the year and averaged 18 points per game

So far, this is what we officially have for the CSU women’s team:
Returning: Mickayla Perdue, Destiny Leo
Out of eligibility: Carmen Villalobos, Brooklynn Fort-Davis
Incoming freshmen: Sarah Hurley, Brenae Jones-Grant
So technically, if everyone with eligibility were to return, CSU would have no roster spots open.

Faith Burch has entered the transfer portal. She is a graduate transfer with 2 years of eligibility remaining.
This gives CSU 1 open scholarship on the roster currently.
Given that Faith is from Warren which is close to Youngstown, and former CSU assistant coach Melissa Jackson who coached Faith last year is now the head coach at Youngstown State, I think YSU could be a potential landing spot for her. We’ll find out.

Cleveland State picks up a transfer portal commitment from Seattle Universiy's Mya Moore, a 6 foot forward. She is from Milwaukee, and played on the same AAU team as CSU forward Jordana Reisma.
This past year, she started all 29 games for Seattle, averaging 25 minutes per game, 12.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Shot 48% from the field and 66% at the free throw line.

As of this moment, the only still to be determined move for the CSU women's basketball team is hiring an assistant coach to replace Melissa Jackson who departed to become YSU's head coach.
