Hodge tearing it up today for Missouri vs #12 ranked Iowa State. A damn shame we were not able to keep him.

Hodge has actually been struggling before the mississippi game. If he were still here Csu probably wins the horizon easily.

It’s just the way it is now. I’m not going to spend time wishing. If Hodge were here Enaruna and Lowder wouldn’t be, for example. Rosters are fluid now and it works both ways. Although mid majors will lose their best players to P5 conferences, mid majors will also attract the bounce back candidates like Lowder and Williams (D1 to Juco back to D1), as well as the P5 guys looking for more playing time like Enaruna.

An interesting thought, if you did a trade of the guys we lost vs. the guys we brought in, did CSU win or lose the trade?
Out: Hodge Gomillion Mirambeaux Greene
In: Enaruna Lowder Williams Price

Williams, and Price? Except for Mirambeaux, the Gates folks played multiple years in the same system. Agree, interesting experiment.

You nailed it. Losing Hodge and Gomillion was a negative, but getting Enaruna and Lowder is a positive. Different types of players, but that's a fairly even trade. I would take Enaruna over all of them because of how unique he is to this team/conference.
